Bio
My name is Emmanuel Ofosuhene, I was born in West Africa, from a country called Ghana. I now reside in the United States, Chicago Illinois to be specific. Art is my first talent, but I didn't start with photography until 2014, when I decided to include photography to my professional life. My work is influenced by many photographers, especially that of Chuck Olualabi and Paa Kwesi Yanful.
I consider myself a freelance photographer, working in all areas of photography but what I enjoy the most is shooting weddings. They are such special events that brings together both beauty and the respect for culture and traditions.
My weapon of choice is the Canon. I began with rebel T3i and improved to the 60D, but now I work with the all powerful 5D Mark iii. I also own a few great lenses that brings the images out so beautifully.
Creativity
Capturing the raw genuine emotion of my subject(s) is highly important to me and for my style of photography. It is so important for me to build a relationship with my customers because I value capturing true moments and reactions. It takes patience and a sense of awareness to achieve this.
The goal during a shoot, for me, is to get the correct exposures by the camera before getting to the editing table. My images are edited with a touch of VSCO film filters, to capture a classic and timeless look.
Experience
I have worked so hard in the last 3 to 5 years on many techniques in photography. I have expanded my knowledge and understanding of composition, vibrancy and saturation of images as well as acquiring sharpness. I want my work to capture audiences just as the television ads does to its consumers.
Preparing myself for this stage began with shadowing a few professional photographers and studying some of their tricks. Achieving the skill involves having the eye for it as well as hands on practice. My work now is as great as the big high-end companies.

With family and maternity portraits starting at $250/hr and wedding packages starting at $2000, I still have bargains to fit any budget. I want to work with you, I want to create a timeless images for your generations
