A good observation of my work will show you that one of my favorite subject in my work is Kendall. She is such a great and important character for my portraiture journey. She’s a risk taker and the willingness to try out ideas is what make me favor her more as a partner to grow with. We are both growing together in our respective space (model and photographer). Through her i have chosen to work and improve my studio portraiture, where i can be more artistic and free spirited.
In this mini project she brought up the idea of shooting without makeup, to capture her natural blessings and what we deem as imperfections. The challenge for the both of us became focusing on the artistic posing and the ability to capture emotions in portraiture. I look forward to projects like this.
