We were colleagues in college, Kevin and I were at one point even roommates, so the excitement of the news that the two were getting married was high. I walked into their traditional wedding (seen here) with just my Fuji X-T2 with no flash hoping to capture some few moments to share with friends. I later realized that I could join the photography team to document a bit more of their wedding. Here is where the big guns come out, I’m talking about the canon 5D Mark iii. This was an opportunity to work on capturing details and candid moments. Here, I will not be stressed to capture the most important moments but rather be focused on the creativity. Note, I had to also stay out of the way of the main photographer. I left the focus of the family and the wedding party to the main photographer. I wanted to shoot from the point of view of a guest.
